Our annual Community Energy Scotland Conference 2026 returns on 6 October at the beautiful and historic Glasgow University Union.

This year’s theme, Owning the Future, is a call to imagine what comes next and to play an active role in shaping it. Together, we’ll explore how communities can secure a fair share of the benefits of renewable energy, build more equitable partnerships, and influence policies that empower genuine community leadership.

Join members, community organisations, partners, policymakers, and supporters for a day of conversation, inspiration, and practical learning as we examine how communities can take ownership not only of energy assets, but also of the opportunities and futures they create.

Come along to connect with fellow community energy practitioners, share experiences, and engage with key stakeholders from across the sector.

Ticket information

Our Community Energy Scotland member organisations are eligible for up to two free conference tickets. We also offer discounted tickets for students and representatives from public and third-sector organisations.
