On 8 April, Scottish communities and individuals presented strong feedback during a consultation session on the Scottish Government’s guidance update.
This session hosted by Scottish Community Coalition on Energy introduced the Scottish Government consultation, gathering input from members who contributed valuable comments and insightful thinking helping shape our response.
Over 50 attendees discussed and offered thoughts and ideas on the Scottish Government’s Good Practice Principles, focusing on best practice for communities receiving funds from private renewables developers both on and off shore.
The details of the feedback can be found in the link below together with the our Policy Manager’s overview of building community support for the energy transition by the UK Government.
