Antoine has a background in energy and business management. He has worked in the Net-Zero sector since 2017, when he joined Edinburgh Napier University to lead a 15-month project with the City of Edinburgh Council. The project focused on the Council’s strategy to decarbonise its non-domestic building stock.

In 2024, he completed a PhD investigating how existing buildings can be connected to low-carbon heat networks.

Since 2022, Antoine has been actively involved in the community sector as a member of the Clean Heat Edinburgh Forum (CHEF). CHEF is a charity dedicated to decarbonising heat across Edinburgh and the Lothians, with a particular focus on heat networks.

He is now establishing Heat Network Scotland (HNS), a knowledge hub designed to promote a joined-up approach to heat network development. A central theme of HNS is ensuring a strong community voice and involvement. HNS is an independent organisation, hosted at the Edinburgh Futures Institute (University of Edinburgh).Details to follow
